Builders Academy New Zealand has joined the One Zealand Warriors as the Kiwi club's official education partner.
Builders Academy New Zealand, as part of the country’s leading tertiary education group UP Education, has joined the One New Zealand Warriors as the Kiwi club’s official education partner.
The collaboration marks a significant step towards advancing academic excellence alongside the athletic aspirations of Kiwis.
UP Education operates across a range of in-demand sectors.
These include industries of particular interest to One New Zealand Warriors fans, such as sports and recreation through New Zealand Institute of Sport, foundation studies and healthcare through NZMA and building and construction through Builders Academy New Zealand.
UP Education also operates other well-known and highly respected education providers across technology, creative industries, tourism, hair and beauty including Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, New Zealand School of Tourism, Cut Above Academy and Elite School of Beauty and Spa.
“Ongoing education is integral in offering a pathway beyond rugby league,” shares Glenn Critchley, General Manager of Commercial and Consumer Business at One New Zealand Warriors.
“We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with UP Education in such a critical space.”
“From nurturing academy talents to supporting NRL squad members, ongoing education remains integral in offering a pathway beyond rugby league.”
With a commitment to fostering work and world-ready skills, UP Education has more than three decades of experience delivering quality vocational education, higher education and online learning, with more than 40,000 students annually across 57 campuses in Australasia.
“We are excited to partner with the Warriors in unveiling ‘non-traditional’ training opportunities throughout New Zealand,” said Philip McCracken, Head of Marketing and Communications at UP Education.
“Our joint efforts aim to enlighten fans, players, and stakeholders alike about the diverse educational pathways available.”
As part of the partnership, both organisations will jointly launch a four-part education and wellbeing content series. This series will encompass a wide scope of topics aimed at empowering learners and fostering growth in academic and sports and recreation pursuits. It will include insights from industry experts, educational resources and access to Warriors players for mentorship and guidance.
Through this initiative, the One New Zealand Warriors and UP Education aim to create visible benefits for Warriors fans, learners at UP Education and the community at large.
