This site supervisor qualification is targeted at people who have a relevant trade qualification or equivalent technical knowledge, skills and experience in a construction related trade and wish to gain the additional knowledge and skills required to supervise construction related teams and work programmes.
Domestic applicants with English as a Second language must be proficient in the English language.
Must be employed in the residential construction industry in New Zealand in a supervisory role or as a tradesperson with a level of opportunity for supervision.
This programme is currently only offered to domestic students.

No, you need to be currently employed in a construction trade in a supervisory role, or have equivalent experience.
A Certificate in Residential Construction Supervisor typically takes 12 months, or about 45 teaching weeks to complete.
This residential construction course is broken down into 15 hours a week. Each week this works out to 10 hours of work that you’re already doing onsite, and five hours online.
Builders Academy's Workplace Educators come to site every 6 weeks.
Yes, there are night classes that are held fortnightly to help with your bookwork.
Yes, all submissions are online except some modules that require on site observation visits from your assessor.
